I haven't check exact seat numbers, but if Britain could have an unexpected Tory/Libdem coalition a decade or so back, could Thuringia get a AfD/CDU coalition?

Maths seems to trump both professed ideology and vehment pre-election commitments if its the only way to get sticky claws into the spoils of office...

Right, that wasn't a working government either.

I wouldn't mind a center-right government after decades of a left one.

The only thing that might stop the CDU from doing so would be Höcke as the head of the government.

Let's see how everything works out.
