You have a bad attitude. I Uninstalled Amethyst after watching all this go down.
Damus has a better UX and doesn't crash or slow down constantly.
And you implemented ideas that weren't yours.
You're a talented coder but you aren't collaborative.
I'm loving nostr and using Amethyst as my main client. I really appreciate what you are doing. It is working awesome for early stage software. Not every feature I could dream of, but highly useable and fun.
William, I am a newbie here and am not an engineering. I'm curious the top 5 ways you see Nostr as different than Twitter (decentralized? more flexible platform to build tool? )..thx
1) No hidden algorithms
2) anyone can build a relay
3.) Anyone can build a client to connect to the nostr protocol
4.) No one has central authority; meaning no one can ban you or shadow ban you
5.) It's completely free and ad free
Ad free... how wonderful... remember when google search and other search engines (Altavista -- i know i'm dating myself) were add free ;)
