I should probably be wearing ear protection at work.

If you wear the good earplugs (like EarPeace) they lower the db but still provide a full spectrum sound so nothing is muffled

I'll actually look into this.

Although I do keep one earphone in on full volume for podcasts or music during the day as well. So. Currently doing myself no favors. 🥴

You can pair the good ear protection with a pair of bone conduction headphones like Shokz (I love mine)

I've actually tried some of those headphones. They made my nose and ear itch though 😅. I can't remember the specific brand I had though.
