I also loved Borland's "no-nonsense" proprietary license. If proprietary vendors would just pick from a smallish list of such licenses (similar to list of FOSS licenses), their software would be less objectionable.

Also, Borland was NOT exaggerating with the "Turbo". Fantastic performance, even on 8088 cpu.
