Personally, I think the article is unnecessarily polarizing. In my opinion, V4V is first and foremost a philosophy, which can become a more or less important component of income.

OK, reading through the article it seems to be lacking data to support your claim. Even when you include anecdotes on your own podcast, you didn't announce the number of downloads. Also, your podcast is very niche, like I've never heard of it until today. But I'm not your audience.
