Assange’s hearing at PACE was majestically humble considering the scale and impact on freedom of information.
He also mentioned cryptography, emerging technologies that could aid freedom of information.
I’d say Nostr has an important place in making freedom of information accessible to all.

Heard a few fragments this morning. The hearing was quite sobering and factual.
Freedom of expression is just an idealistic idea in a centrally organised permissioned world. Nostr certainly helps to make it more real.
But leaking information sensitive about a government will always be punished one way or another.
Whistleblower protection is a load of crap.
Praise those who still try to investigate and write truths, but that uphill battle is not for the average Joe.
Nostr is the sly roundabout that removed social media and public information dissemination from the hands of the Governments in a way that they can't stop it.
