Interestingly enough I proposed this plot for my Terrorism class in college. We were tasked with thinking like a terrorist and planning an attack in the US. We could use any philosophy we wanted but more interesting to me was the logistics.

I proposed an attack on the American interstate system. Using gorilla warfare to attack drivers then flee the area and regroup for continued future attacks. My argument was it was a soft target that is easily reproducible by the same cell.

It's also extremely disruptive. Schools close. Businesses shutdown. On the right roads you can even slow interstate commerce. If you're not caught in the act the fear left in the local community is immense even as you flee 100s of miles away to recreate the attack. Plus everyone has to use roads so it's relatable to every citizen.

My professor was unimpressed.
