How does the Canvas Border in Librewolf/TOR Browser help you against fingerprinting?

Apparently it's to hide your resolution. Dam, just needed something like this to not be identified is crazy. Worse than the late 90's/early 2000's
VPN should be enough. Fingerprinting is okay if you have a burner device. No need for extra measures unless you run a dark market or a spy.
