Thanks 🙏 left hospital 13 days later.
Docs said Blood cancer ♋️… I said treat me. They didn’t laugh at my suggestion of just adopting some leeches for the blood letting.
Either way: told no one until a couple Yeats ago. Not even my ex spouse & coparent to our children. Never was gonna be known as “cancer mom”
Maybe it was wrong but no-one ever felt sorry for me. Truly believe this keeps me alive 🫂💜🙏
Goes to show, you are capable of doing anything you put your mind to.
And by keeping quiet and focusing on yourself could have been the thing that allows you to talk about it today.
Thank you 🙏 My belief has always been what we focus 🧘🏻♀️ on happens so it was my choice to not tell others. I asked online what others would do if they were given diagnosis of death 50% within five years and 95% within 10. The odds weren’t favorable when I was diagnosed. Chose to get treated and keep going.
Either way, I told my male best friend last year and he literally fell to the ground because he had no idea and then suddenly so much of our relationship made more sense to him why I was so standoffish why I couldn’t see myself being in a relationship with anybody for a long period, etc.
