Is it normal in Europe to go to a hospital for bloodwork? We have bloodwork clinics in Canada. Usually 20 minutes to complete.
Similar to my "lackofhelthcare" systems in the US. You the patient must now take on a few second jobs; doing the job of the front office, double checking the back office billing, fighting with your insurance, getting a second opinion from the findings of the first, which means you do all of it a second time.
Just keep in mind it's the people upstairs, not the clerks, that set the ridiculous policies and processes that result in the insane wait times we are all experiencing now, even if we have booked appointments. Stats and timed tests always are ahead of routine tests in the cue.
