The InfoWars bankruptcy sale caused Twitter/X to reveal something we here on #Nostr have known for a while: you don't own your Twitter posts.
They own all content, and simply grant a license to your posts.
Only #Nostr allows you to truly own your online speech
Do we really own them if we cannot control them once they are published?
I’m not saying I want the ability to delete a note… but at least the ability to revoke a key that grants access to all notes.
We could publish to our own relay and delete those… but nothing stopping another relay from duplicating, right?
this is how they get around the problem of being "utilities" they are publishers, and they own everything you send them
that is why you don't send anything to them, you sign it with your npub, and they can't copyright it
the end.
