Good morning everyone. Hope your day is/has been great. Now that NostrGram is actively blocking most spam urls, it's time to tackle spam note content. Some spammers are posting the same text into many thousands of notes. No sense having that stuff clogging up the database, so I'm running a script now to tally it up and then I'll delete the most egregious notes.

Relays are doing a much better job of preventing spam now, but early on they didn't do much of anything at all. I don't think anyone ever claimed Nostr to be spam resistant, but censorship resistant due to the decentralized nature of relays.
