I've been trying Fountain for podcasts for a few days and here's my take:
If you are pitching it to someone, don't try to sell it as "you'll earn sats for using it!". The amount you get is tiny. It's a nice perk, but not a selling point. In fact, the value you're getting out of the content outweighs the sats you get. The ability to directly send sats to the content creators, that's pretty neat.

Yeah. I never mention the sats while listening thing. I only tell people about being to directly support their favorite content creator.
Exactly, with what you get for listening you're not going to go quit your everyday job.
However those small bits flowing back towards content creators might stack up to some meaningful amount. Or, at least, show them someone, somewhere cares about the time and effort they're putting to make the content.
