were you trying to pay a large LN invoice?

what action did you take to get this popup?

I tried to send some sats to someone using phoenix wallet 🤔

I don't understand the on screen suggestion 😅

I see now 👀

Reduced from 67 to 7 👀🫡

Will improve the wording, thanks!

I tried sending to phoenix again 🤔

Is this because of lightning fees?

Not sure without more detailed log. You can dm me the audit trail from the transaction detail to have a look.

Just send the audit trail. 🫡

It might also be an issue of phoenix, because it is not running in the background when switching between apps.🤔

Phoenix also told me that for this transaction an on-chain transaction might be required 👀

Liquidity should not be an issue. Is there a channel from minibits to acinq?

No direct channel, will check the peers. Problem with acinq is usually not about peers (they have very high centrality) but often enough inbound liquidity from their side not above the fee reserved by mint (1% currently)

I did not fully understand the last part 🤔

1% is so little, there should be enough inbound liquidity 🤔

1% is the reserve for the routing fees. Smaller payments might easily be pricier to route to acinq.

Your wallet picked a lot of small denomination ecash notes to match requested amount to pay.

Like youd'd bring a bag of dimes to the shop.

You should be able to ask your mint to exchange it for larger denominations in Settings > Backup > Optimize proofs.

This tool exchanges your small coins with the mint in batches, so you wan't hit the limit.

When done, get back and pay!
