We suck and do not start teaching the game properly at the youngest level is the real problem. Core development is absolutely shit.

USA, for some reason, teaches “why not touch the ball 8 times before you do something with it”… infuriating

I played into college and i absolutely agree. It’s just poor education on the game conceptually. We don’t spread the field naturally and pass well, lots of choppy crosses across fields, fast switches, too much running without results

Not at all. It’s pathetic. The core of it is just lost. No healthy distribution from the back up, no solid progression or real technique. We just have a few folks who can score and usually have a sub par goal keeper lol
