I hope this man recovers and sues both the water park and the county.

The county requires 3rd party inspections of the park to give a sense of safety to the users.

But what good is a regulation requiring inspections if the county doesn’t act on a report detailing severe structural problems?

Sad. I feel like regulations such as this show government is often more interested in requiring bureaucratic reporting than actually fixing problems. Laws are more often “file your TPS report” and less often “ensure your citizens have a safe city, state, etc”
