What about starting something like a meetup local to you? Pick a coffeeshop you would like going to anyway and a time you can make yourself free, put up some flyers or post somewhere locally relevant on the internet that a group will be meeting there to talk about what you’re wanting irl friends about, and see who shows up after a few weeks. Can’t hurt if you like the coffee anyway
