Telegram is shit but they scaled their app to ~1 billion people only with 30 engineers, zero HR, one owner ! The smaller team is the most efficient.

You need to have a phone number, also it’s not that private like everyone thinks, a lot of spam and scammers ! Also I think that KGB is behind it but as always I might be wrong

Well.

Because why not?

Request to censor an message from a user? "Nah idc", says telegram everytime to governments request to takedown an content.

Hence why this small team could sit down and chill every single day.
