Is the setup fee really 50k? It reads that some unknown amount of a fee will be deducted... and I didn't see the amount mentioned anywhere. 50k gone just for the setup would be a real bummer...
Hi, I confirm that the setup fee IS NOT 50k sats. It is about ~1k sats if you open your first channel with an onchain transaction. And this fee seems to cover just the network fees. However, no idea what the fees are if you open your first channel with an inbound lightning transaction. However, it would be great if the structure of fees would be communicated in a clearer way.
I set mine up today it was 10,000 Sats for me with a 50,000 sat minimum to start. Also tried the mutiny + subscription to see what that's about. Love that I don't need an app and l'm able to self custody my seed words! Might be my new lightning wallet.
