phd's and masters degrees are not impressive to me. it's for people who are linear in their thinking and so becomes their path in life.
most people are impressed by such accompishments because they think they can't do it.

Very interesting, especially as a woman! I can tell you and I’d get along very well irl.
Electrical Engineers are my fav engineers cuz in my experience/observation, they tend to be more creative & interesting, less rigid than other types of engineers.
yes, it's kind of dudey but i enjoy it. i know a few electrical engineers and they're not my favourite. lol i think it's just their personality.
I totally RESPECT that you’re in a predominately male field and obvi can hold your own! And think it’s super cool that you fly aeroplanes & helicopters! 💪🏼👊🏼
The electrical engineers I’ve known and friends with were/are creative. One guy studied fashion before he switched to EE. The other types of engineers I know (mechanical, etc.) are much more math/science & rigid.
I’m a more artsy/creative person but get along very well with engineers.
Addendum: Obvi not all EEs are creative and interesting. I can think of one who is interesting but should really stop playing with his latest toy! Also, generally, NOT a good idea to shagg or and date person from a company one owns, oversees, directs or manages cuz definitely not professional! And potential conflict of interest and sexual harassment/abuse! There’s a power imbalance. It’ll save money in the longrun if/when woman files lawsuit for his behavior.
