Rangers and Mariners play each other 7 times over the last 13 games. Hopefully one of the two wins 5 of the 7 but one team has to win at least 4 so if the Jays can win some games while they are playing each other they will pick up ground on one of them.
I still think they have a good shot but every win is such a grind that they can’t afford a bad start or one of the bullpen arms to blow up for a game. It’s a tenuous way to try to win say 9 of the next 13.
