Android custom OS dissertations:

• Calyx is a good operating system for privacy and customization, but bad for comparability due to its microG dependency. Also comes with good stock apps.

• Graphene is good for security (with privacy) as an added benefit, but suffers from the baggage resulting from Micay being a fucking piece of shit. Stock apps are 90% garbage as well, along with there being small features stripped out.

• Divest is the best of both, but has no (official) support for either microG or Sandboxed GMS.

Stock Android is shit no one should use without significant hardening, and an awareness that it may not even matter since Google actively disrespects anyone wanting to preserve their privacy or make an anonymous account (barely got one made myself).

We need better options in this regard.
