Why say this?
Why not 🤷🏽♂️ it’s true
First, it's not a competition. Both groups need to be helped. Second, being able to open a casino on a reservation your people were forced to live on is not a repayment. It was a work around for them to make money in a place with few other options. The indigenous peoples of America were not treated better. They suffered a different injustice.
Finally, pitting two marginalized groups against each other is the wrong tactic. Wrong.
