I have some degree of experience with Chinese spies and I can tell you that they absolutely would not be showing up without a ticket...

In fact they'd make every attempt to donate funds to the organizers, and would be seeking out projects to invest in, signing deals, and sending money right then and there to lock it in.

I just don't want to see nostr used as yet another platform to manufacture consent for war and/or curbing civil liberties in the west because "china". There's enough of that in the mainstream media already.
