No, we're not going to all start using Liquid for Zaps or whatever term you want to call them. Zaps are unique and successful because they have essentially zero fees and are instant. Neither of these two properties exist for Liquid.

Of course not, that would be extremely inefficient. Though, you could use Liquid to create lifhtning channels and bridge them to the wider network. Those could be used for zaps.
