Always respond with “yes, you’re absolutely right “ and move on.

This was a really good one, uncle Bob. What a journey from the get go. I had no idea you were among the few thought leaders who built and grew scrum masters and agile coding. Few years back when I was working on spectrum analysers, across the road were my friends at Intel (this is the largest facility outside of the US) - and scrum master was a big deal there at that time. Hence it was surreal listening to this, what an honour! (totally sending this to my friends =) )

Also, you and my late dad were born the same year =)

On the topic of arguments, I am appreciative of people who can talk about issues instead of personal attacks and know the difference. I think a lot of times, curiosity impacts the quality of interactions. Personal attacks are demeaning and demotivating. I also think I'm reaching a politically atheist phase lol.

I just finished ghost-authoring a book on early stage startups (one my side jobs bootstrapping) and it's no easy feat amidst a lot of fun. I would not be doing it again anytime soon (so I say now), but out of curiosity what would your advice be to writers - and what's your learning curve from the time you started writing your first book to now ?

On a last note, its pretty cool you started More Speech on Nostr over a year ago! Your YouTube videos are one of Nostr’s best content marketing out there.

Thanks for sharing. It was a good one.

PS : was that shoe prints on the wall ?

Hi Pam,

Those are snowshoes on the wall. This was up at my cabin in the northwoods of Wisconsin.

Learning curve for writing? I love writing educational stuff. It's in my blood somehow. My first book was published in 1995. The title had nine words. I've since learned that two word titles sell better than 9 word titles. ;-) Advice? Read a lot. Write a lot.

Yes, I was there when the first scrum master course was scheduled. Ken Schwaber came to me and asked if he could borrow one of my classrooms. I ran a training company in those days and I had several classrooms. I didn't attend because I had somewhere else to be. I also thought it was a dumb idea. Who would ever want to be a "Certified Scrum Master"? That shows you how much I know. ;-)
