I would say no to that. Governments are just giant social projects. Some might have benefits, some have disadvantages. Nowadays almost all Governments just abuse their power but I would say all of them, look at Bhutan for example

That they are a way of legitimizing human slavery. Theft, violation of rights, confiscation of property, etc
So lets say there is no taxes, absolutely 0. that would mean you would actually have no borders anymore. Lets pretend there is no state government at all. Lets say some people from a small town would build a community to maybe protect themselves, build streets etc. They have agreed together that they collect small amounts of money every month, so that this money will be used for the towns costs. Everything is going well for many years, offspring is coming. The children, when they grow up, now also have a duty to make a contribution even though they have never voted for it. Is that slavery for you? Because if not, well then taxes shouldn’t be as well because it is exactly the same on a bigger scale. That was what I meant.
Borders are the slave master’s cage. They are an indication of which area holds which slaves. I’m totally fine living without borders. The only borders I care about are the ones around my home.
Anytime an exchange is involuntary, it becomes coercion and/or slavery. I am not responsible for the debts of my father so why would I be expected to adopt his responsibilities?
Here’s a simple question: if the offspring didn’t want to pay for any of these things, would you like someone to force him to or threaten to throw him in jail? If your answer is yes, then you’re a violent tyrant. If your answer is no, then you’re a peaceful individual that respects human autonomy.
