The interesting thing about halving is that it shouldn't drive price up like it would any other asset because the maximum was established in the white paper. 21 million, always, regardless of halving. It's kind of pointless unless you never expect to reach 21 million, because you've sufficiently dissuaded people from mining due to such low rewards. Quite a conundrum.
