You don't have to be connected continuously to the network to use it. You can use it intermittently.

Signed transactions can carried by sneaker net for broadcast. Then you can issue paper IOU'S against the verified Bitcoin..😊

I guess I would just have to be in the environment and see what's available.

But I'm pretty sure I could manage it anywhere on Earth. Just with what's available in the environment..🤔
