no. but it was more peaceful

Não sei. Eu no vivi esse época.

Yes, but as much as before radio and tv. And that era was not as good as before indoor electricity and plumbing. And that era sucked balls compared to before the printing press.

*not as much

It was simpler I think. More outside play, more direct face to face human interaction. Only 4 or 5 TV channels. Local butchers, no giant supermarkets. Fewer voices, egos and marketing. That said, I guess it was always there just with less exposure to it. I also have a love/hate relationship with now.

I wonder if maybe every generation thinks that as technology advances beyond what they grew up with. Change is inevitable, but it’s also difficult as we get older. Maybe the issue is not that the world is changing, but that we grow increasingly less equipped/willing to allow it to do so.

Most likely. 🤣

😂🤣

I thought I saw somewhere that the feeling that old times were better has more to do with what it’s like to individually grow old than the old times actually being better. Times in general are getting better on so many metrics - violence, poverty, equality… bitcoinization :)

We were all younger in the past, so hard to tell, but I remember it being glorious.
