There are 4 types of people in the world. The awake, the blind, the lost, and the enemy. We can help the blind see but the lost will fight to maintain the status quo. Unfortunately a lot of people are lost. Obviously the enemy we need to defeat. The enemy knows and understand what Bitcoin means but they actively spread misinfo.

Remind them that just because they like a power being wielded by someone they like or think they agree with doesn't mean that exact same power can't and won't be wielded by someone they hate or are afraid of.

The number of progressive friends that called me for firearms advice in 2020 was astounding. Some of these people had never touched a gun, let alone fired one, when they called me.

In my experience, while it's not convincing to everyone, when people realize that the power they enjoy seeing used against those they perceive to be their opponents can be used against them, they tend to get more open to alternatives.
