Hasn’t been a problem for me. Get your settings configured and you don’t even need to have the app open for it to record steps.

Just gotta be sure to open it at the end of the day, or it will track steps but not the reward

Exactly - it needs location access = always, but honestly if Google or Apple has it already, smiles may as well, too

And I disabled Google access lol
