And it would have a passphrase also. Obviously, the disadvantage is the many parts. But I could keep it all in a locked steel capsule.
I feel like I'm missing something? Would this be an upgrade on your standard seed plate?

I think I'm missing something too. I thought you meant to create like a tube with nuts on it. each has numbers and letters on it but those need to be aligned correctly to give you the correct seed. Such approach would be similar to the beforementioned scitala cypher which is one of the oldest cyphers known to us.
Yet again, it would be probably easier to scitala a private key rather than 12 or 24 words. I don't really do seeds so my wisdom ends here. I'm a private key person, always have been.
