Wanting vs. actively pursuing (vs. keeping it on the backburner as a plan B for the future) are two different things. My point is simply it may be time to prioritize that effort vs. thinking you'll be able to convince google to continue being open to installing alternative OS on their hardware.

Everything points to them pivoting in the other direction.

Moving towards having our own devices is the priority. We've been in contact with numerous parties.

All we are saying is it would be nice to see certain groups like Samsung change their approach regardless.
