Just bought my first #Meshtastic node. Unfortunately, I only see one other node in my area that shows up on the map and I don't think I will be able to hit it. So I will just have to add myself to the MQTT so that others know that there are now two different nodes in my area.

It kind of sucks that I don't think I'll have anybody to talk to on a mesh, but at the same time, at least I will have the hardware already. And given time, I think others will get involved as well.
Do you live on property? Use it for automation. Or get a pole and put your node up high and you can talk
