Yes, but remember that was all because the system was working a certain way and when that way was disrupted, the economy needed time to adjust to a new way and after 10 years, it was adjusting, but then it was disrupted once again by establishing bank bailout mechanisms.

#[1] This is a large part of why I do not believe we will move away from Fiat and bank bailouts until we decide that we will not accept debt as a normal part of business or at the very least do not allow people to spend money that they have lent out (fractional reserve banking)
