The throne of God isnt a chair. Its an entire room of both finite and infinite dimensions. The floor is made of glass and there are three steps made of white granite that extend left and right. He kneels on the second step, and He shows no pain from kneeling on the granite. All around him are red, green and blue pillows for you to sit with him and be present. He laughs at your piety.

The only thing I know about the throne I have found the the quran. It is held up by 8 angels. Each of whom is so massive that the distance from their ear lobe to their shoulder is 500 yrs of an albatross flight..

8 points means the shape is a cube.

The imagery in revelation of John is slightly different than what I saw in a dream. I didnt take an interest in it until after seeing it. It could be that the throne ROOM is held up somehow, it was obviously held up over the lake of fire because you can see it through the floor.
