I've tried to talk some sense into them for years. I think now they are starting to get it. But only because they have been told to.

Sometimes people just don't listen to reason.

They only understand dominance.

I've stopped trying. It's exhausting.

That reminds me of a quote , "fear is a more dependable motivator than love."

If people fear you, that may wear off. The same could be said for love. It's good to have a fallback.
