I have not. I know some who have. I love mechanicals, but I've only gone so far as to replace one set of keycaps. Heh
I got some switches that made a nice difference but thinking of doing this since it's such a cheap mod
Yeah, switches are fun, but gosh... I don't wanna stay down that rabbit hole...
For sure lol, gets expensive. I'm not into buying a bunch, just found my favorites and bought a set for my build
Yeah, sure sure can. I realized I don't need another time consuming hobby, which us supply since I would rather be typing and not spending time modding the thing I type with.
Think of the bottom of the keyboard like an anvil. They keys hit and makes a loud sound. A lot of people mod with several layers of painters tape to make the sound more "thocky" vs clank
This would make cleaning way easier as well!
Ended up doing the mod on an old $20 keebs just for fun
