I look at it occasionally. Even the main feed is full of stuff you don't follow, I'm not sure if there's a way to turn that off, not really looked cos I'm not really using it.

My instagram is full of basketball news, memes, and thirst traps. I don’t see many murdering but some fighting occasionally.
Many or any? 😀 I needed to see it so I asked my G’s and they showed me reels feed and it was 9/10 videos of murdering with fighting and one video of dog LMFAO 🤣🤣🤣 Maybe problem only of Europe?

The algorithm gives you what you want. They must have engaged with that content at some point.
