Having to try to be too clever, philosophizing, really seems like an impulse that largely arises from the inability to make forward progress on the natural human inclination to build & advance tools. Something I think about whenever I find myself trying to be too clever, you know, like this note.
Creativity certainly gets in the way of focused work. Gotta find that sweet spot of balance between the two.
