Can't help this , I apologise if you feel otherwise , I've no intention of being discourteous:

I can't stomach Brand , to be blunt. His media connections , close association with much of the British establishment , (having met the Queen for example), set alarm bells off in my head.

I believe the recent debacle with him (which coincidently was brushed under the carpet for due to the normies only being able to focus on one thing at a time) was an attempt to give a black eye to the truth community that exists online.

Create a straw-man leader from the ground up (Brand was allowed to say things during the height of the covid nonsense on YouTube whilst others were banned for saying likewise) , prop him up as a de-facto leader of the truth movement , and then reveal that he is a hateful rapist, and watch the anger and shock of the public start to be directed at people who question authority. It seems so obviously part of a playbook to me.

i think he is quite good, especially his focus on decentralization, the establishment coming after him makes him more credible to me, he has been splitting his show part on youtube part on rumble because of the covid censorship for a long time now and has been completely demonitized on youtube and nearly kicked off

did you see the letter sent to rumble to demonetize him by the uk gov ?

dont throw the baby out with the bath water, just because someone says or connects with something you dont agree with doesnt mean they are wrong about everything, there is plenty of things i could be turned off about russell over like his like for bari weiss for example

the censorship aka authoritarian movement has been careful to only target low fruit for a long time now because censoring celebs will wake up too many

you know rumble is banned in france? you can be fined 75k euros and put in prison for 2years or deported for saying bad things about israel

not to forget numerous hate speech and misinformation laws around the world

I know that rumble is a valuable service, I wouldn't throw rumble under the bus at all .

Yeah I did happen to see the letter asking him to be demonetised, but I don't think that Russell's financial well being depends solely on his Youtube channel.

What is a bari weiss ?

As for taking out low-hanging fruit, I agree with you there , which is why it makes sense to me for them to create a truth "messiah" of sorts in Russel Brand, who lets not forget is a comedian and an actor and his short history as a supposed agent of truth doesn't warrant the amount of attention that he gets from the public in my opinion. That isn't me throwing the baby out with the bath water, that's me throwing a pretentious little know it all out with the bath water.

In terms of the conspiracy/truth space, there are people that have been running that marathon for years, with sweat and toil, and Russell Brand joins the race in the last couple of yards , having done no work whatsover , and he is help up as some sort of messiah that is going to awaken everyone , give me a break man , that shit stinks of a rug-pull, and I really don't think that he could have managed to get this far without help.

russell views decentralization as a cure for many of the worlds problems and inversely centralization the cause, he talks about it a lot in a range of contexts and guests

i listen to all podcasts for the guests they have and russell has good guests, i do see potential for him being a puppet but i dont think he is, he is only one of a long list i listen to but i find him more agreeable and like his topics like decentralization

the messianic themes i take as humor, after having listened to him a bit i think the guy sort of had a bit of life wake up to the emptiness of materialism, the bible is full of such stories

if russell turns out a shill people will notice
