It's a trend for at least a generation I think. I don't blame gen Z actually, I think we set them up.

Social media, including nostr, encourages a feed of content that scrolls by and music becomes just content. Maybe not to someone who was used to something different, but if that's your introduction to it.

It's like people who think jazz is that stuff played in stores, or talked over.

I've also seen more gen z in record stores than millennials. So I like to think we are self correcting.
