Hmm I did a test. Disappointed to see I couldn't message you/pay you without first signing up for vida. I'm assuming I would then need to deposit sats into my vida account "wallet" before I can then pay for a message? Not as frictionless as we would hope in a new Nostr type era. I was hoping tapping message/pay would prompt me to open my lightning wallet and pay for a message box to appear.
This is unfortunate and feels like platform trap like we already have unless I am missing something?

hey thanks for looping me in and thanks for the feedback. you’re right we don’t do a good enough job making it easy to use the app with only nostr keys and a lightning address (although we do support both). I’ve been working today on automatically detecting nostr support and auto-logging you in today. lots more to do including releasing an open source version of our media servers so anyone can run one beside a nostr relay. would love more feedback!
