I guess everyone knows this, but better to reiterate on the basic things:
"Compare unit prices, and not normal prices."
Unit price is e.g.:
price/kg,
price/liter,
price/ml, ....
Why?
Because something could seem cheaper simply by looking at its price, but it is maybe a smaller package. So if you compare the unit prices, you can get the winner.
For those who pay attention to protein intake:
You could compare "price / protein amount". This way you could get the most protein for your buck. Also just simply comparing the unit price won't tell you, which has the most protein in it for the least price.
I wrote a script to get all the protein containing products from Mueller.de and their protein, so I can compare which protein containing product is the cheapest. If you want to have that excel (with price /protein), just ping me.
Disclaimer:
Cheaper things are not always better, and higher price does not always mean better quality!
