The consequence of mining pools today is that the pool operators decide #Bitcoin parameters on behalf of their entire hashpower, ultimately allowing them to choose which transactions are valid or not.
#StratumV2 is an open source protocol designed by #Braiins which decentralizes these decisions down to the individual miner-level while maintaining the advantages of pooled mining (sharing rewards to allow for a predictable and consistent income).
