From the perspective of a guy born into American aristocracy, there are no disastrous effects - Stocks are going up, real estate is going up, tax/tariff revenue ready to embezzle and plunder is going up, and government is increasing its power and its demand for weaponry so from their point of view, everyone who is worth something wins, and the rubes are lucky to be allowed to fuel their continued financial wellbeing.
