Still don’t know what to think about Nayib Bukele. On the one hand,

* #bitcoin based economy is obv very cool

* homicide rate reduction is very impressive, but

On the other hand,

* suspended due process via “state of emergency” to do it (and no doubt some innocent people got locked up)

* is effectively rigging the system to stay in power
