Gave the kaiffer lime at some TLC. I moved it around, put it under a grow light, pruned it down, and got a decent haul of leaves for cooking for the next little while. Also put pebbles in its tray to help with humidity. Im so close to getting usable limes.

Don't let the cartels see this

The ones charging 5$ for 4 leafs at the stores? 🤣

I wouldn't underestimate what they'll do but tbf, I doubt they're coming to your house first 😆

Citrus inside. We've been thinking about trying this with a lemon tree at the cypher house.

Like it?

So far it's a fun experiment. I got the tree mainly to cook with the leaves, because I was sick of paying exorbitant prices in stores.

I haven't produced a usable lime, but supposedly a kaffir lime is much more bitter than the average store bought lime. So we'll see if I actually end up liking them. Smells amazing though.

The main issue would be size and location. So far front runner is where the Christmas tree goes and just decorate the lemon tree.

As much as I love the smell of fresh pine, a citrus tree would make an interesting Christmas tree.

We do a fake tree anyway so no loss of tree smell.
