People often say "I trust ChatGPT as far as I can throw it". One, stop throwing your devices. Two, we built Maple AI so you don't have to trust it. Verify the AI isn't spying on you and chat freely. https://trymaple.ai

How does it compare to chatgpt in performance?
For some tasks, it's better. And then there are many features ChatGPT has that Maple doesn't. I tell people that Maple should be one tool in your AI toolbox.
When you want help from AI on a task that is sensitive (personal or confidential company information), it provides fast, uncensored reasoning. It's liberating feeling when you know your AI isn't sharing your data, training on it, and isn't creating a honeypot for hackers.
Good answer. Thank you. Definitely will be looking to get privacy with my AI use more going forward
Need an account to use it?
Yes it does need an account. The code is open source and verifiable, so you can see that we aren't snooping on you. Majority of our users signed up with privacy email addresses, so we don't even know who they are.
Maple AI is the first app built on our upcoming confidential backend platform for app developers called OpenSecret. The user gets the strongest privacy while using an onboarding experience they already know.
Looks like AI has a ways to go yet.
I asked "tell me about www.apex-water.com"
Anyway, the response well organized mis-leading response.
I then asked "Tell be about minute particles of silver that make it an ideal delivery system for carrying oxygen to pathogenic cells".
It provided a much better response.
I had a Melanoma spot on my back and when to the doctor and had it burnt off. Several years later it come back and it was looking really bad.
I had heard of another person who had a large Melanoma spot on her leg and it was diagnosed as interoperable. She treated with apex-water daily and it worked.
So, I tried it myself on my spot and after several months the spot is gone and hasn't been back.
Interesting. Yeah all of the AI technology is still just a game of probabilities. It's guessing at what it thinks is the most likely response that will satisfy you.
Maple also doesn't have access to the internet...(yet?). So it's only going to know about things that the model trained on. We use Llama 3.3 which has Dec 2023 as its snapshot.
